Patistuta Restaurant: For Fries Food Lovers

When it comes to fries, we all know what we like. Many fries lovers will argue that there is nothing better than eating fries at midnight while watching a movie. They also will never argue that fries can be served in various ways not only the French fries we all know about. Patistuta Restaurant serves one of the unusual fries you can try in Downtown, Cairo. Hassan Wasel, Chef at Patistuta Restaurant said that they are famous for Classic Potato Cake where we “boil the potatoes and mash them adding milk, a bit of butter, eggs, and salt” in the first stage of cooking it. Then sugar, vanilla, and yeast are added in the second stage and at the final stage, all this is mixed together to be liquidized adding flour to keep the number of potatoes in the flour at a ratio of 1:2 to make sure it does not become crunchy. Wasel added that their menu is enriched with different types of potato cake where they add cheese and blueberry to one of its types which is named “Potato Cake Che-Berry”. Also, chocolate was added to another type named “Potato Cake Chocolate”. He added that they serve long fries, creamy potatoes, corn dogs, and Pizza that is cooked from fries. Wasel highlighted that the fires are a component in all that they serve at Patistuta. The chef at Patistuta Restaurant mentioned that the restaurant was founded 6 months ago, and its idea came because everyone loves fries and potatoes, so this formula was behind this restaurant's emergence.
