El Akeela street .. #4 Mazag: Beverage Truck

In between the food-serving trucks present in El Akeela street, the beverage truck, Mazag, co-exists to offer a variety of hot and cold drinks, some of which are seasonal. After taking a meal from one of the street trucks, it is always possible to go for a fresh juice or a cup of coffee at Mazag. Ahmed Hamdi, the owner of Mazag truck, said that they sell a variety of drink options to the street visitors. They sell different types of coffee and cappuccino besides offering 10 flavors of fresh juices. Although the cart might offer similar services to many other cafés in Cairo, it stands out in El Akeela street because of its position in the middle of the street as well as the fact that it is the only specialized truck providing drinks only, according to Hamdi. Hamdi added that they work on providing their services at affordable prices to appeal to different customers and represent an extra advantage to be added to the competitive services they offer.
