El Akeela Street .. Complex Manager: 17 unique restaurants

If interested in one food genre, it may cost a long commute to where a restaurant is. What if you can find all your food interests and delightful expectations can be met in one place? El Akeela street in Dolphin Mall in the 6th of October city got a wide range of food tastes covered through the different trucks and many restaurants it includes. Sherif Mostafa, Manager of Al Akeela Street, accompanied YumReads on a dine-in tour along the street that is to be covered periodically in El Akeela Street’s series. Mostafa mentioned that the idea street which is almost 2 years old now was first introduced during the first outbreak of COVID-19 when the mall’s management decided to use the open-air area as a restaurant complex in order to offer a less risky dine-in experience while sticking to the governmental safety precautions. Mostafa added that they have around 17 fully operating restaurants now; each provides a unique experience with no similarities between the offered genres of food. “We intend to appeal to various tastes”. There are oriental as well as western restaurants. Desserts in all forms are also present, such as ice cream and juice. “We focus on creating occasional dining experiences,” Mostafa added. They run PlayStation tournaments during Ramadan month in order to attract more visitors to have some fun after taking their Iftar meals.
